ASE Certification(After School)
This course is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment related to automotive brakes, suspension, and steering systems. Students will learn to diagnose and repair disc and drum brake systems; remove and replace brake components; operate the brake drum-lathe; repair automotive suspension and steering systems; and set up and operate an alignment rack.
Integrated throughout the course are career preparation and academic content standards, which include basic skills, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, safety, technology, and other employment skills.
