Constitutional Law

This course is designed to provide classroom instruction to prepare students for employment or advanced training in law enforcement or law enforcement related careers. Students will learn about the origins and evolution of our American criminal legal system, its policies, practices, influence and impact on society's daily lives. A portion of the career development may involve training at a post-secondary institution. This course is offered in the Whittier Union High School District and may articulate with Rio Hondo College.
Integrated throughout the course are career preparation and academic content standards, which include basic skills, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, safety, technology, and other employment skills.
