Small Unmanned Aircraft

Students in this course will understand the capabilities and limitations of the technology including hardware and software associated with Unmanned Aircraft. They will understand the environment in which the UAS technology will be applied both in the physical and political environment. They will learn the capabilities and limitations of human remote pilots and using that understanding to become a responsible member of the aviation community. They will explore the concept of safety and the role of managing risk and organizational decision-making to improve unmanned aviation safety.
