Tri-Cities ROP Cautions Area Residents about Door-to-Door Scam Soliciting Funds and/or Selling Newspapers on Behalf of ROP

on Thursday, 01 September 2016. Posted in Notice Board

WHITTIER, CA (March 1, 2019) – It has come to our attention that a number of individuals have been canvassing local area neighborhoods soliciting newspapers and other goods/services on behalf of Tri-Cities ROP and its students.  The individuals suspected of this activity are purported to be in their late teens or young early 20s.  They often claim they are students of our program.

Superintendent Tracie Zerpoli warned residents by stating, “Tri-Cities ROP never solicits funds in this manner.  If a person is approached by someone selling newspapers or other goods on behalf of Tri-Cities ROP, please exercise extreme caution before falling victim to this type of fraud.”
